this weekend was the weekend of my yearly kidney stone (i had one this time last year, the very day after sausage fest). I waited 2 hours in the waiting area and another in my room hooked up to an i.v. before getting any pain medicine. once i was hooked up with that, i was happy as a clam. i sat next to eric in my wheelchair, and with eyes half open asked him to tell me a story. he told me a couple. one about a fox and a bunny and another one i don't remember. i got a c.t. scan and the doc said he didn't see a stone. i figured i had already passed it. and sure enough, when we got home i saw it sitting there in the toilet, the smallest little gray bead that was the demise of my whole day. thankfully we are too poor to pay, so we'll be getting financial aid forms in the mail soon.
snuggled up on the couch, i watched eric play zelda while i pet my rabbit. we bring my rabbit in-doors for a couple hours during the night before we retire to bed. he has been acting so sweet lately. giving me lots of attention and loves (little bunny licks on my hands and toes) and even going so far as to hop on my lap and sniff at my face and hands for treats. he never nibbles at me, just nudges me with his nose. he's such a polite little bunny. he also never poops indoors. i am so thankful for my rabbit, but more importantly i am thankful for a wonderful husband.
